largest division of IFLA with more than 250 associations and institutional
members. During the period as Chair, guidelines were developed and approved
for schools of library and information studies, a semi-annual bulletin
introduced, an international study of reciprocity of qualifications
completed, a process for refereeing papers for annual fora introduced
and a social responsibilities round table sponsored.
